SLUT CLUB is a deliciously daring documentary short film that explores sexuality and femininity through an empowering environment. It delves into the heart of Ms T’s Slut Club, a unique pole dancing show in Cape Town created for women and the LGBTQIA+ community, and celebrates this radical act of self-love, acceptance, and community.
Ms T's Slut Club and the documentary also serve as a powerful form of advocacy for sex workers. The film challenges the stigma and negative stereotypes often associated with the profession, highlighting the importance of respecting bodily autonomy and safety, advocating for the destigmatisation and decriminalisation of sex work in South Africa and around the globe.
SLUT CLUB invites audiences to connect with their sacred sexuality. The documentary captures this through intimate interviews and evocative visuals. The performers share their experiences of reclaiming their bodies and sexuality, finding empowerment through self-exploration and expression. They speak of honouring their emotions, trusting their intuition, and embracing their vulnerability as pathways to unlocking their divine feminine power.
SLUT CLUB is the political in practice, focused on counter-storytelling as a liberation and healing for our communities.
This film is currently screening at festival and conferences around the world. Contact us to arrange a screening.

THE TRANS (R)EVOLUTION is a feature documentary film which journeys with Zoey Black, a transgender woman of colour, as she meets queer and trans people around South Africa. The film is an exploration of the struggle and violences we face, and, more importantly, a grounding of the joys and resilience of what it means to live an ordinary extraordinary life.
THE TRANS (R)EVOLUTION is made by trans and gender diverse people to broaden the scope of trans representation on screen. Trans people in South Africa, and globally, will be able to see themselves represented in the film, with trans stories being told by trans people.
The film is an educational tool for the broader public in developing a language and context for queer and trans people in South Africa, as well as as an advocacy tool for furthering the development of legal and policy protections for transgender people in South Africa, the region and globally.
This film is currently in post production and is anticipated release in 2026. Contact us to get involved with this project.

THEY WILL BE QUEENS honours the enduring legacy of Cape Town’s queer and trans histories through Salon Kewpie: The Legacy Project, a ballroom celebration of queer youth, culture and resilience, hosted by GALA Queer Archive and the District Six Museum.
Salon Kewpie: The Legacy Project originated through the partnership between GALA Queer Archive and the District Six Museum, which utilises the Kewpie Photographic Collection as a means for artistic exploration of queer identities. Framed through the lens of Ballroom, the Salon Kewpie Collective hosts an annual workshop programme, creating a space for queer youth to engage with the Kewpie Photographic Collection, learn valuable skills, and be in community with one another.
THEY WILL BE QUEENS weaves together archival treasures with the raw energy of a contemporary celebration, exploring the transformative power of remembrance and the enduring spirit of queer resistance. We journey with Collective through the week long workshop and document the power of the programme. Culminating in a Ball extravaganza. The film celebrates queer resilience and the transformative power of reclaiming heritage, showcasing the enduring impact of Kewpie's legacy.
This film is currently in development, with anticipated release in 2027. Contact us to get involved with this project.
